MIDDLETOWN, Ind. – The Knightstown wrestling team picked up a pair of titles on Saturday as the Panthers posted a 5-0 record.
The Panthers defeated Mt. Vernon 39-35 to win the championship of the Shenandoah Duals.
In addition to that crown, the Panthers claimed the Henry County championship with wins over Blue River (78-3), Shenandoah (54-21) and Tri (75-3). Knightstown also beat Winchester 57-21.
The Henry County individual champions from Knightstown were David Peck (106), Thomas Sollars (113), Kaleb Buchanan (120), Jacob Hanna (126), Ben Newby (160), Jon Simmons (182), Aiden Orcutt (195), Burias Wisner (220) and Charlie Moore (275).
Knightstown visits Lincoln on Wednesday.
