LIBERTY, Ind. – The Union County boys basketball team grabbed an early lead on Tuesday and held on for a 51-43 victory over East Central.
The Patriots led 11-7 at the first stop and 19-13 by halftime. After three, it was 29-23.
Logan Sanford led the way for the Patriots with 13 points.
Mook Shepler added nine points and Cameron Donovan finished with eight.
Union County (9-12) faces Tri-Eastern Conference foe Union City at home on Friday.
