RICHMOND, Ind. – Union County Head Coach Jesse Moses earned the first win of his career on Tuesday as the Patriots beat Seton 58-46 at Earlham College.
The Patriots had three players in double figures led by Mason Miller with 14 points.
Preston Scott added 13 points, while Cam Sanford finished with 10.
A 26-point fourth quarter allowed the Patriots put the game way as they converted 9-of-12 from the free throw line. Sanford was 7-of-8 during the final period.
Seton led 13-8 at the first stop, but Union County grabbed a 21-16 advantage by the intermission. They maintained 32-27 lead at the end of the third.
Union County (1-1, 0-0) entertains Knightstown (1-1, 1-0) as the Patriots open Tri-Eastern Conference play.
