LIBERTY, Ind. – Mason Miller had four hits including a home run as he led the Union County baseball team to a 13-3 victory over South Decatur on Tuesday.
Miller also knocked in four runs in the contest that went five innings.
The Patriots scored four times in the first frame and built a 10-1 advantage after two innings.
Caleb Greene added three hits and two RBI, while Nate Webb had a pair of hits and he drove in two runs.
Joey Weller went two innings on the mound to get credit for the win.
Union County (22-6) faces Winchester in the Class 2A sectional at Centerville on Thursday at 5 p.m.
