MORRISTOWN, Ind. – Logan Sanford led the Union County boys basketball team on Saturday with 29 points as the Patriots won 65-58 over Morristown.
“We got off to a great start,” Union County Head Coach Mark Detweiler said. “We were up 17-0 in the first four minutes and gave it all back.”
“We got away from what got us the lead,” Detweiler added. “We pushed it back to 10 late in the fourth. This was the first night they have been healthy, so it’s a good road win.”
Dillon Miller added 14 points and nine rebounds against the Yellow Jackets (3-5).
Nevada Lakes grabbed eight rebounds and hit a key 3-pointer late in the affair for the Patriots.
