CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Union County volleyball team defeated Centerville 29-27, 19-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-8 on Tuesday night in a Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
Madison Rosenberger led the Patriots with 36 kills and four aces. Emma Townsend added 14 kills.
Rosenberger and Olivia Schwab had three blocks each. Rosenberger and Fayth Hill finished with 12 digs apiece, while Lindsay Lang added 11.
Rachel Grissom ran the offense for the Patriots with 64 assists.
For the Bulldogs, Kelsee Troutwine had 13 kills.
Morgan Toschlog added 33 digs and Ally Staton had 31 assists.
Union County won the JV match 25-23, 12-25, 15-10.
Centerville’s Kate Wilson had six kills and Ellie Brown had five. Lexi King added 10 digs.
The Patriots (14-7, 7-0) entertain Tri High on Thursday.
Centerville (16-7, 4-1) plays again on Thursday at Union City.
