WINCHESTER, Ind. – The Union County boys basketball team stayed on top in the Tri-Eastern Conference on Friday night as the Patriots defeated Winchester 64-52.
The Patriots had three players in double figures as Mason Miller led the way with 19 points.
Cameron Donovan and Trevor Reiboldt both tossed in 13 points. Preston Scott finished with eight points.
For the Golden Falcons, Trey Graft had 15 points.
Isaiah Jordan-Miller added 13 points, while Boo Enis finished with 12 and Justin McAllister had eight.
Winchester grabbed an early 16-8 advantage after the first quarter.
However, by the intermission the Patriots had rallied to go on top 30-22. Union County led 48-38 after three periods.
Union County (4-1, 3-0) entertain Batesville (2-3) as the Patriots look for their fifth straight win on Tuesday, while the Golden Falcons (1-4, 0-2) visit Jay County (3-3) the same night.
