LIBERTY, Ind. – The Union County girls cross country team won its own Early Bird Invitational on Wednesday.
The Patriots had 24 points in the five-team event, while Muncie Burris was second with 32.
Jenna Barker of Seton won the race with a time of 21:31.8.
Union County’s top finisher was Samantha Crowe, who was second with a 22:04.2; 3. Alyssa Harris was the leading runner for Lincoln in 15th with a 30:44.2.
Union County competes in the Richmond Invitational on Saturday, while Lincoln visits Pendleton Heights next Wednesday.
