UNION CITY, Ind. – The Union County girls basketball team picked up a 41-38 victory over Union City on Friday night.
Fayth Hill led the Patriots with a career-high 16 points in the Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
Madison Gray tossed in eight points and Taylor Pinkerton finished with seven.
For the Indians, Justiss Cantu led the way with 10 points, six assists and five steals.
Ellis Kerns added nine points and four steals, while Kahlee Dowler had eight points.
The Indians led 16-8 after one period and 22-18 at halftime.
The Patriots rallied to grab a 28-27 by the end of the third and held on for the win.
Union County won the JV contest 37-24.
The Patriots (4-3, 2-0) entertain Connersville (2-4) on Wednesday.
Union City (2-5, 0-2) is also back in on action Wednesday at home against Class 2A No. 3 Monroe Central (3-0).
