RICHMOND, Ind. – The Union County girls golf team picked up a Tri-Eastern Conference victory on Thursday as the Patriots defeated Centerville 193-198.
The win puts the Patriots at 9-0 over and 5-0 in the conference, while the Bulldogs fall to 8-1, 4-1.
Haylee King was medalist as she carded a 41 for the Patriots.
The other scores for Union County were Emily Treadway (50), Sarah Schwab (51), Sydney McClure (51) and J.C. Pike (54).
Centerville was led by Chloe Brown who had a 46.
The other scores for the Bulldogs were Brooke Killion (50), Alison Weaver (50), Myra Robinson (52) and Anna Carter (52).
Centerville entertains Northeastern on Tuesday.
The Patriots are back on the course next Thursday at home against Northeastern and Eastern Hancock.
