LIBERTY, Ind. – The Union County softball team won its third straight on Monday as the Patriots defeated Tri-County North 12-7.
Tanner Henry and Emma Adams led the Patriots with three hits each, while they both knocked in two runs.
Tara Williams picked up a pair of hits. Madison Walters add a hit and two RBI.
Madison Rosenberger, Lily Hampton and Kristin Klein all had one hit.
The game was tied 6-6 heading into the bottom of the fifth when Union County put the contest away with six runs in the frame.
The Patriots (3-2) are on the road for the first time this season on Tuesday as they visit North Decatur.
