MIDDLETOWN, Ind. – Lincoln scored three runs in the second inning on Tuesday as the Golden Eagles went on to defeat Shenandoah 8-3.
Emmie Pugh led the Golden Eagles with three hits including a homer as she knocked in three runs.
Alyssa Messer also had three hits with two RBI.
Laynie Russell and Jaela Patton each added two hits.
Rachel Moschel had a hit to drive in a run.
Hannah Hall went the distance on the mound with six strikeouts to get the win.
Lincoln (11-1, 5-0) plays Tri-Eastern Conference foe Hagerstown at home on Thursday.
