Just have fun is Mason Rader’s goal as he is set to play in the IHSAA State Golf Championships this week at the Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel.
The Centerville junior is scheduled to tee off on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
“I just want him, first of all to enjoy it and play golf the way he is capable of playing,” Centerville Head Coach Roger Martin said. “Just go out and hit good shots and let the score take care of its self.”
The final round will be on Wednesday.
“I just want to have a good time,” Rader said. “It would be cool if I shot well. I’m just happy to be able to go.”
Rader had a 73 last Friday at the Muncie Central Regional at The Players Club in Yorktown to advance to the next round.
