Kaleb Slagle
HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – Kaleb Slagle set a course record for Hagerstown in a four-way meet on Tuesday featuring Monroe Central, Union County and Cowan.
The previous Hagerstown record was set by Chad Ballenger nearly 30 years ago. Slagle’s time of 17:27.1 smashed the old record by over 30 seconds.
The Tigers, currently ranked fifth in the small-school poll, placed three runners in front of 7th-ranked Monroe Central’s number one runner and placed seven boys in the top twelve.
