Strat Madness Tournament

Each year college basketball celebrates March Madness. A one and done pressure packed tournament is the reason for its success.

Strat Madness features the 42-Team Old Timers Set and seven additional teams from the World Series in 1975, 1990, 2006 and 2007. The 1962 Mets were not included in the tournament.

The teams in this 47-game C & D Tournament have been seeded in four brackets based on regular season win totals combined with World Series results.

The Top-4 Seeds with names selected to honor a player from each team are:
1. 1927 Yankees (Babe Ruth)
2. 1909 Pirates (Honus Wagner)
3. 1961 Yankees (Roger Maris)
4. 1975 Reds (Tony Perez)

The Semifinals have the winners from the Babe Ruth Bracket and the Tony Perez Bracket playing, while the other contest has the winners of the Honus Wagner Bracket and the Roger Maris Bracket meeting for a ticket to the championship game.
