EDINBURGH, Ind. – Cody Swimm scored 33 points on Wednesday as the Hagerstown boys basketball team defeated South Decatur 66-63 for third place in the Edinburgh Tournament.
Trent Weiss finished with 12 points, Noah Dale added six points.
Hagerstown led 17-10 after the first quarter before the Tigers built a 38-28 advantage by halftime.
After three periods, the Tigers were able to maintain their distance at 53-43 before they were able to hold on for the win.
The Tigers (6-3) return to action against Northeastern in the Wayne County Tournament in Hagerstown on Thursday, Jan. 4.
