The Tri-Eastern Conference boys basketball teams begin play on Tuesday as two teams open their seasons with home games.
Class 2A No. 2 Northeastern entertains Monroe Central in the second game of a boys/girls doubleheader, while Hagerstown gets a visit from Jay County.
Five teams start the season on Wednesday.
Union City Head Coach David Barger is the only new mentor in the TEC and the Indians get underway with a home contest against South Adams.
Centerville is at home with Eastern Hancock and Knightstown is at Tri with Lincoln meeting Wes-Del in Cambridge City.
Union County faces Connersville on the road.
Winchester is the last TEC team to begin is slate as the Golden Falcons travel to Randolph Southern on Friday.
Saturday’s action has Centerville at Seton, Hagerstown at Cowan, Union City at Delta and Wapahani at Tri.
