The Tri-Eastern Conference girls basketball title chase hits a critical part of the schedule this week with six contests.
Conference leader Union City (8-2, 3-0) has two tests to pass if the Indians are to stay in the top spot.
Union City begins the week on Tuesday with a trip to Winchester (7-6, 2-2). On Friday, the Indians entertain Lincoln (4-5, 1-2).
Unbeaten in the TEC, Tri (10-2, 2-0) looks to keep pace with Union City as the Titans visit Union County (6-5, 1-1) on Wednesday. Lincoln is at Randolph Southern (5-3) on the same night.
On Friday, Hagerstown (6-4, 1-1) welcomes Centerville (3-8, 1-2) as part of a boys-girls doubleheader. Northeastern (1-10) travels to Randolph Southern.
The week wraps up with a pair of TEC games on Saturday. Tri is at Hagerstown, while Union County is on the road at Winchester.
