RICHMOND, Ind. – Five Tri-Eastern Conference boys golf squads had an opportunity on Thursday to practice for next week’s Richmond Sectional as the teams competed at Forest Hills Country Club.
Hagerstown had the top performance of the TEC teams as the Tigers finished second behind the host Red Devils in the Richmond Invitational.
Richmond had a 322, while Hagerstown posted a 338 in the nine-team affair.
Centerville was third with a 366 and Union County was fourth at 380, Tri finished sixth at 400 with Lincoln in seventh at 440.
Mason Rader of Centerville had the best individual score among the TEC golfers with a 78.
Hagerstown’s Ben Tinkle (81) and Kyle Cochran (83) were next from the conference.
The five TEC schools in the Thursday’s event along with Northeastern are among the dozen teams in the Richmond Sectional on Monday.
Union City and Winchester are scheduled to play in the Monroe Central Sectional at Hickory Hills Golf Course on the same day.
