Hagerstown’s Keeton Adams
WINCHESTER, Ind. – Hagertown’s boys track team won seven events on Thursday night as the Tigers won the Tri-Eastern Conference championship.
The Tigers had 156 points with Union County finishing in second with 137 points.
The other team scores were Northeastern 72, Lincoln 70, Union City 68, Winchester 32, Centerville 28 and Tri 20.
Keeton Adams and Mason Bledsoe won two events for the Tigers. Adams took the shot put (46-10) and discus (130-9½), while Bledsoe won the 1,600 (4:35.85) and 3,200 (10:18.24). Holden Robinson in the 300 hurdles (41.48) and Logan Tuttle in the 800 (2:01.16) were the other individual winners for the Tigers. Alec Hicks, Jevon Osborne, Kaleb Slagle and Logan Tuttle won the 3,200 relay (8:29.71) finishing just four seconds off their record time established a year ago.
Union County’s Isaac Bentley won three events taking the 100 (11.32), 200 (23.40) and the long jump (20-7). Joshua Nixon won the 400 (52.94).
Justin Beasley, Ryan Hensley, Dakota Lewellen and Bentley won the 400 relay (46.03), while Nixon, Luke Haas, Dakota Elleman and Matthew Snyder won the 1,600 relay (3:34.77).
Lincoln and Union City had the other individual champs. Bryant Hilbert won the 110 hurdles (15.53) for the Golden Eagles and Trevor Thompson won the high jump (5-10) for the Indians.
