HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown girls volleyball team cliched a share of the Tri-Eastern Conference title on Tuesday as the Tigers defeated Union County 25-19, 25-13, 25-15.
Winners of the last three TEC championships, the Tigers are now 29-1 overall with a 7-0 mark in the conference and can claim the outright crown with a win at home over Centerville on Thursday.
“It’s the position we want to be in,” Hagerstown Head Coach Brian Dale said.
Regan Tinkle led the Tigers with 11 kills.
“The last two weeks Regan has been dominating,” Dale said.
Jessica Swimm added seven kills and Lanie McClanahan contributed five kills and eight digs.
Lacee Dale had nine digs and Beth Jenkins finished with 25 assists.
Taylor Kelley and Alexis Ellis each had four blocks.
For the Patriots, Olivia Schwab led the way with eight kills and two blocks.
Madison Rosenberger added seven kills. Rachel Grissom had 22 assists.
Rosenberger, Quinn Stephens and Lindsay Lang had four digs apiece.
Hagerstown won the JV contest 25-16, 25-18.
The Patriots (15-10, 8-1) entertain National Trail on Thursday.
