HAGERSTOWN, Ind – Hagerstown took control of Friday’s Tri-Eastern Conference football contest against Tri High as the Tigers went on a a 48-12 victory on Senior Night.
In the opening period, quarterback Owen Golliher got things started with a 4-yard touchdown and then Mason Hicks followed with a 30-yard scoring run to put the Tigers up 14-0.
Hagerstown had put the game away by halftime as the Tigers build a 34-0 advantage.
Golliher and Hicks hooked up for 30-yard scoring pass. Cameron Purtha scored and defensive touchdown and Jalen Oliver ended the half with an 8-yard run.
With a 42-yard run, Golliher added his second rushing touchdown of the contest in the third frame.
Noah Snodgrass finished Hagerstown’s scoring with a 21-yard run.
Nick Wilson scored the first touchdown for the Titans on a 51-yard run in the third quarter.
The Titans added a defensive score in the final period.
Hagerstown (5-1, 4-0) visits Centerville (5-1, 4-0) next Friday, while the Titans (3-3, 2-3) are at Knightstown (2-4).
