Savannah Houck led the Tigers with 15 points, while grabbing nine rebounds.
Gabby Willis tossed in 13 points and Brytni Dale added 12 points.
Taylor Kelley finished with eight points and a team-high 11 rebounds.
Cowan led after the first quarter 11-7, but the Tigers were able to take a 21-17 lead by halftime. They finished with a 21-point final period to put the Blackhawks (2-3) away.
The Tigers (6-2) visit Union County for a critical Tri-Eastern Conference contest on Wednesday, Dec. 9.
“I’m excited to play at Union County next week,” Hagerstown Head Coach Chris Oliger said. “Two really good teams and I think it will be a real good ball game.”
Both teams tied for the TEC title with Union City last season. The Tigers are currently 1-0 in the conference and they trail Tri and Union City who are both 2-0. Union County is 3-5 overall and 0-1 in the TEC.
