Hagerstown’s Mason Bledsoe
CONNERSVILLE, Ind. – The Tri-Eastern Conference had 17 individuals advance to next Thursday’s regional at Warren Central.
Hagerstown had the top performance as a team as the Tigers finished second with 108 points behind Rushville, which had 153.33. Union County was third with 94.5 followed by Lincoln in sixth with 53.83, Northeastern in seventh with 40.5, Centerville and Tri tied for eighth with 10.
The Tigers won five events with Mason Bledsoe and Keeton Adams taking two each.
Bledsoe won the 1,600 (4:34.99) and 3,200 (10:30.12), while Adams won the discus (139-9) and the shot put (52-10).
Logan Tuttle was the other champ for the Tigers as he won the 800 (2:00.10).
Alec Hicks, Jevon Osborne, Kaleb Slagle and Tuttle were second in the 3,200 relay (8:15.08) as they set a new Hagerstown record. Holden Robinson was second in the 300 hurdles (41.09) and Jordan Baumer was second in the discus (128-0). James Blevins was third in the shot put (45-7½).
Union County had a pair of champions with Isaac Bentley winning the 100 (11.28) and Josh Nixon taking the 400 (53.07). Bentley also was second in the 200 (23.52).
Justin Beasley was second in the 110 hurdles (15.71) and Ravi Dare was second in the 3,200 (10:35.08).
The Patriots had two relay teams advance. Evan Couser, Dare, Dakota Elleman and Dylan Poe in the 3,200 (8:45.53). Beasley, Bentley, Ryan Hensley and Dakota Lewellen in the 400 (45.57).
Due to a scratch in the 200, Union County’s Dylan Dunaway moves as he finished fourth (24.25).
Lincoln had a winner and two others qualify.
Bryant Hilbert won the 110 hurdles (15.62) with Caleb Craig finished second in the high jump (5-10). Austin Wampler was third in the 3,200 (10:36.78).
Northeastern had two make the next round in field events.
Chaz Johnson was second in the long jump (19-11½) and Dakota Green was second in the shot put (47-8½).
Tri’s Hunter Nuzzi finished third in the 400 (53.49) to advance.
