Tigers Split Tourney Games

Hagerstown’s Drew Pyle shoots against Union County on Dec. 8.


EDINBURGH, Ind. –
The Hagerstown boys basketball team will compete for third place in the Edinburgh Tournament after splitting a pair of contests on Tuesday.

The Tigers opened the event with a 70-48 victory over Trinity Lutheran.

Hagerstown fell 59-55 in the semifinal game against the host Lancers.

Jalen Oliver led the Tigers with 23 points in the Trinity Lutheran affair.

Drew Pyle tossed in 15 and Cody Swimm added 13.

Against Edinburgh, Noah Dale led the Tigers with 11 points.

Pyle and Trent Weiss finished with 10 points.

The Tigers (5-3) will battle South Decatur (2-8) for third place on Wednesday.
