CHARLOTTESVILLE, Ind. – The Hagerstown volleyball team added the Eastern Hancock Invitational title to its list of accomplishments on Saturday as the Tigers defeated Indian Creek 25-20, 23-25, 15-5 in the championship match.
The Tigers defeated the New Palestine JV team to open the day by the scores of 25-4, 25-6 before beating Indianapolis Arlington 25-3, 25-2.
In the semifinal contest, Hagerstown got past Indianapolis Tindley 25-10, 25-17.
Lanie McClanahan had 24 kills, 20 digs, and 24 service points to lead the Tigers.
Regan Tinkle contributed 24 kills and 18 service points, while Jessica Swimm added 16 kills and 16 service points.
Lacee Dale had 39 digs and Beth Jenkins had 61 assists on the day and reached a major milestone of 2,000 assists in her career.
The Tigers (23-1) travel to Knightstown on Monday.
