HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown baseball team picked up a non-conference victory on Tuesday with a 9-1 decision over Daleville.
Drew Pyle tossed five innings and fanned 11, while Derek Davis and Cody Swimm pitched scoreless frames in the sixth and seventh.
Mason Hicks and Cameron Purtha both blasted home runs.
Purtha had two hits and drove in two runs. Swimm, Trent Weiss and Noah Dale all had two hits. Owen Golliher had a triple and two RBI.
The Tigers (4-1) are at Winchester on Thursday for a Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
