HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – Hagerstown’s baseball team scored three times in the second inning on Tuesday as the Tigers were able to defeat Centerville 3-0 in a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
Cameron Purtha drove in the first run with a double, while Camden Rhoades make it 2-0 with a hit. Derek Davis picked up the final RBI on a suicide squeeze to score Clay Cochran.
Cody Swimm went the distance on the mound for the Tigers allowing two hits with 10 strikeouts.
For the Bulldogs, Nolan Witte also tossed a complete game with three strikeouts as he surrendered six hits.
Oran VanSkyock and Dante Torres had the hits for Centerville.
Both teams are back in action on Thursday with the Tigers (13-3, 6-1) entertaining Eastern Hancock, while Centerville (7-7, 2-4) faces TEC foe Knightstown at home.
