HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown boys tennis team picked up a 3-2 victory over Tri-Eastern Conference foe Winchester on Tuesday.
The Tigers (6-3, 3-0) won one singles contest, but they swept the doubles competition to win the match.
Hagerstown’s win in singles came from Trey Kelley, who beat Trey Graft 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 at No. 2.
In doubles, Evan Hoover and Noah Dale got past Michael Georgi and Drake Moody 7-5, 6-3 in the top spot. In the second position, Caleb Neal and Luke Girdley defeated Thadd Legear and Justin McAllister 6-4, 6-4.
Winchester’s Aaron Wallace defeated Isaiah Neal 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, while Mason Melton beat Derek Davis 7-6, 6-2 for the Golden Falcons other win at No. 3.
The Golden Falcons entertain Muncie Central on Wednesday. Hagerstown has a TEC contest at Union County on Thursday.
