HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – A second half comeback helped the Hagerstown boys basketball team win its fifth straight game Saturday night as the Tigers defeated Lapel 59-54.
Lapel led 23-16 after the first period and then 34-24 at halftime before the Tigers tied the contest 42-42 at the end of the third.
The Tigers outscored Lapel 17-12 in the final stanza to earn the victory.
Cody Swimm led the Tigers with 20 points against the Bulldogs (11-10).
Jalen Oliver tossed in 16 points.
Drew Pyle and Trent Weiss each had six points with all of them coming in the second half.
The Tigers (13-5) visit Shenandoah (15-4) on Friday.
