MUNCIE, Ind. – Hagerstown’s volleyball team won the championship of the Kay Saunders Invitational at Wes-Del on Saturday.
The Tigers beat Southern Wells 25-6, 25-5; Western 25-21, 25-10; Marion 25-13, 25-12 and Mississinewa 15-25, 25-20, 15-7 in the finale.
Regan Tinkle led the Tigers with 33 kills on the day. Jessica Swimm had 32 with 14 in the championship. Lanie McClanahan added 25 kills.
Lacee Dale had 47 digs, while Beth Jenkins finished with 89 assists.
Hagerstown (9-0) entertains Wapahani on Tuesday.
