Ben Tinkle
HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – Ben Tinkle was recently honored by the Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association for his performance in the classroom.
The Hagerstown senior, who is headed to Indiana University East on a golf scholarship, earned a spot on the Academic All-State Honorable Mention list for the IHSGCA.
On the course, Tinkle led the Tigers with an 81 during last week’s IHSAA Regional at The Players Club in Yorktown.
Tinkle was also selected as the team’s Most Valuable Player and led the way with 25 birdies this season.
