NEW CASTLE, Ind. – The Tri High boys tennis team defeated Blue River 4-1 on Wednesday in the New Castle Sectional.
Clayton Becker won at No. 2 singles for the Titans with a score of 6-2, 6-4. At No. 3 singles, Josiah Jackson defeated his Blue River opponent 6-4, 6-3.
At No. 1 doubles, Mason Rottinghaus and Jimmy Jeffries were victorious with scores of 6-1, 7-6. Isaiah Steele and Jarod Stevens won their No. 2 doubles match 6-2, 6-0.
Tri’s Kyle Falck was defeated by his Blue River No. 1 singles opponent 6-7, 4-6.
The Titans advance to play Shenandoah on Thursday in the second match of the evening.
