FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – Top-ranked Tri High raised its record to 4-1 on Thursday as the Titans defeated Northeastern 22-3 in a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
The Titans banged out 27 hits as Payton Moore picked up her fourth victory of the year by striking out eight hitters and giving up three runs on the evening.
Kaley Harrison and Lauren Bouslog each had three hits to lead the Titans.
Harrison hit a two-run homer in the third, while Bouslog had a bases-loaded triple in the second inning.
Several other Titans had multiple hit games including Destiny Taylor, Breanna Reece, Chloe Gentry, Abi Busby, Kassidy Stewart and Kierstyn Conyers.
Tri High entertains Eastern Hancock on Saturday.
The Knights are at fifth-ranked Union County on Wednesday.
