NEW CASTLE, Ind. – The Tri boys tennis team fell 3-2 in its season opener at New Castle on Tuesday.
The Titans were led by their doubles teams as both were victorious over the Trojans.
Mason Rottinghaus and Jimmy Jeffries won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1.
At No. 2, Isaiah Steele and Jarod Stevens won 6-2, 6-1.
Tri (0-1) entertains Knightstown on Wednesday in a Tri-Eastern Conference match.
