WALDRON, Ind. – The Tri boys tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision on Monday at Waldron.
Clayton Becker was defeated 6-0, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, while at No. 2 Kyle Falck was defeated by scores of 6-3, 7-5. In the third spot, Isaiah Steele lost 6-4, 6-1.
At No. 1 doubles, Mason Rottinghaus and Jimmy Jeffries fell by scores of 6-4, 7-6 (7-3). Jarod Stevens and Adam Glaze were defeated by scores of 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2.
“Tri had some close matches that could have gone the other way,” Titans Head Coach Duke Falck said. “We are seeing a lot of good things from our young team. We just need to keep working hard and continue to get better.”
The Titans (0-2) face Hagerstown in a Tri-Eastern Conference match on Thursday.
