INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Tri’s softball season came to an end on Saturday as the Titans fell 3-0 to Tecumseh in the Class 1A state championship game at Ben Davis.
Maddie Duncan (10-2) of Tecumseh tossed a complete game three-hitter for the Braves (23-9) as they won their third state title.
Kaley Harrison had two hits for the Titans with and double, while Kierstyn Conyers added a double.
Payton Moore also went the distance on the mound as allowed eight hits and two earned runs with a strikeout.
The Titans finish the season at 25-4 as they made their initital appearance in the state finals in any sport.
Tecumseh’s Kaitlyn Flowers won the Class A Mental Attitude Award.
