UNION CITY, Ind. – Tri’s girls softball team has an opportunity to claim its third straight sectional title on Thursday after the Titans reached the finale with a 14-4 win over Randolph Southern.
With their victory over the Rebels on Tuesday, the Titans (14-5) meet Union (7-5), which defeated Lincoln 3-0 to advance.
The championship game is slated for 5:30 p.m.
Kierstyn Conyers led the Titans with five hits and seven RBI.
Mackenzie Peggs had three hits with teammate Kirsten Falck adding two hits and four RBI.
Abbi Coffman earned the victory on the mound for the Titans.
Madison Siggers and Laynie Russell had Lincoln’s hits in the Golden Eagles loss to the Rockets.
Hannah Hall got the loss as she pitched four innings.
