COWAN, Ind. – Tri High won a double overtime contest on Friday night as the Titans defeated Cowan 53-51.
Nick Wilson led the Titans with 19 points as he scored a dozen of those after the third period.
Alex Melton added 10 points.
Tri High led 8-5 after one period and 27-18 at the half.
Cowan closed the gap to 33-30 at the end of the third before the Blackhawks tied it at 42-42 by the end of regulation. It was 47-47 after the first extra session.
The Titans (3-3, 0-1) entertain Tri-Eastern Conference foe Union City (2-3, 0-1) on Saturday.
