LYNN, Ind. – The Tri girls basketball team advanced to the semifinals of the Class 1A sectional at Randolph Southern on Tuesday with a 52-22 win over Seton.
The Titans (16-6) will now face No. 8 Union City (19-4) on Friday at 6 p.m.
Friday’s other contest features Randolph Southern (14-8) and Blue River (11-12) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday’s title affair is set for 7:30 p.m.
The host Rebels moved on with a 54-27 win over Union.
On Tuesday, Payton Moore led the Titans with 13 points and Karlee Winkart added 12 points.
The Titans led 19-1 after the first period to take control of the contest and then they were on top 33-8 at the half.
