CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Tri High’s top-ranked softball team posted a 4-1 victory over Centerville on Saturday.
Payton Moore was the winning pitcher for the Titans as she took a no-hitter into the seventh of the Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
Moore finished with eight strikeouts and two walks.
In the third inning, Kierstyn Conyers hit a double to drive in the first two runs of the game for the Titans.
Lauren Bouslog added a two-run double in the seventh to give the Titans a 4-0 advantage.
Shelby Koch knocked in Centerville’s run in the bottom of the seventh with a single.
Both teams are back in action on Monday with TEC games, the Titans (16-2, 5-1) are at Knightstown, while Centerville (6-8, 4-3) visits Union County.
