LEWISVILLE, Ind. – The fourth-ranked Tri High softball team posted a 19-1 victory over Union City on Wednesday.
On the mound for the Titans, Payton Moore retired the first nine batters with seven strikeouts, while Destiny Taylor finished the last two frames with six strikeouts.
Kierstyn Conyers led the Titans with three hits as she drove in seven runs.
Kennedy Peggs had two hits and two RBI.
Taylor Craft, Zoie Prince, Chloe Gentry, Madison Hill, Breanna Reece all had a hit apiece.
For the Indians, Jodi Carpenter had the hit, while Abigail Crowder knocked in the run.
The Titans (18-2, 6-1) host the Henry County Tourney on Saturday.
The Indians (4-14, 2-5) entertain Anderson Prep on Friday.
