CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville girls track team won a triangular meet on Thursday as the Bulldogs won seven events.
The Bulldogs had 71 points, while Franklin County had 52. Union County finished with 32.
Centerville’s Ashley Toschlog won a pair of events as an individual that included a school record. She set a new mark in the 3,200 (12:16) after winning the 1,600 (5:44).
The other winners for the Bulldogs were Jolie Rusznak (100 hurdles, 19.2), Sophia Neher (200, 28.9) and Emily Willis (discus, 94’2″).
The Bulldogs won two of the three relays. They started the day Toschlog, Kayla Newman, Anna Hawk and Kailee Tedder taking the 3,200 (11:31). The meet ended with Madilyne Coombs, Neher, Rusznak and Merissa Ross winning the 1,600 (44.8).
The Patriots had a pair of winners. Samantha Ramey won the 400 (1:06) and Anevay Antrim took the 800 (2:41).
Centerville returns to action at home on Monday against Tri-Eastern Conference foe Tri.
Also on Monday, Union County entertains Hagerstown in a TEC affair with North Decatur also participating.
