FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – The Union County track teams posted the top finishes among the Tri-Eastern Conference teams at Friday’s Northeastern Invitational.
Monroe Central won both events with Union County in fourth place in the 8-team field.
Lincoln’s boys were fifth with Northeastern in sixth and Tri in seventh.
The TEC teams had three individual champs and a relay winner.
Union County started the meet with a victory in the 3,200 Relay as Breyden Wicker, Dylan Poe, Ravi Dare and Dakota Elleman posted a time of 8:50.
Union County’s Isaac Bentley had a distance of 18’11” to win the long jump.
Lincoln’s Cody Hill cleared 5’10” to take first in the high jump.
Northeastern’s Dakota Green had a 43’6″ throw to claim the shot put.
On the girls side, Lincoln was sixth, Tri seventh and Northeastern eighth.
Northeastern’s Madison Adams won the shot put with a 30’11” toss.
