LEWISVILLE, Ind. – Tri Head Girls Basketball Coach Jeff Miller welcomes back four starters as the Titans look to rebound from last year’s 8-14 record.
Miller sees versatility as being a huge strength for this team, being capable of playing either a full-court or half-court game. He also said that his team’s athleticism should be a plus, while ball handling could present some issues.
Senior Mackenzie Peggs is the top scorer back from last year at 10.0 points per game. She also averaged 4.3 rebounds a game. Kylie Dishman is the other senior returning starter from last season as the Titans finished 3-4 in the Tri-Eastern Conference.
Juniors Cayla Johnson and Addy Edwards are there other starters from a year ago. Johnson scored 8.0 points per game a grabbed 6.3 rebounds a contest. Edwards averaged 6.5 PPG and 5.8 RPG.
Mara Bieh is another senior, while Kensington Appleby and Karlee Winkhart are juniors on the roster.
Rounding out the squad are sophomores Payton Moore, Lauren Bouslog, Breanna Reece and freshman Ella Chew.
The Titans open the season with the Kopper Kettle Classic, which is at Morristown and also features Eastern (Greene) and Oldenburg.
Tri entertains Winchester in its first TEC contest on Friday, Nov. 20.
