RICHMOND, Ind. – Jaden Varner and Landen Johnson were recently honored by the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League as members of the post-season teams were announced.
Varner was selected as a GLSCL First Team Closer, while Johnson was on the honorable mention list at first base.
In nine contests, Varner earned seven saves with an ERA of 0.00. The lefty fanned 23 hitters in 13 innings, while allowing a pair of hits and walking two.
Johnson batted .304 with seven doubles, four homers and 26 RBI as he appeared in 33 games for the Jazz.
