UNION CITY, Ind. – A run to start the second half proved to be the difference on Friday night as the Union City boys basketball team defeated Daleville 46-39.
The Indians trailed 25-17 at halftime before taking a 35-32 lead by the end of the third quarter.
“We weren’t hitting shots and couldn’t get in rhythm,” Union City Head Coach Dustin Baldwin said of the Indians first-half result. “It finally clicked (in the second half).”
Isaac Davison led the Indians with 14 points and seven assists against the Broncos (6-13). He added seven rebounds.
Isaac Jefferis and Bailey Hughes added 11 points each for Union City. Hughes grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds.
Union City (9-9, 1-3) travels to Centerville (4-12, 0-4) on Tuesday night for a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
