UNION CITY, Ind. – The Union City boys basketball team won its second straight on Saturday as the Indians defeated crosstown rival Mississinawa Valley 61-47.
“Our guys are working together and playing the way we want them to,” Union City Head Coach Dustin Baldwin said.
The Indians jumped out to a 17-7 advantage after the first period on their way to putting the Blackhawks away by the intermission 38-15.
Isaac Davison topped the Indians with 25 points as he nailed four 3-pointers. Isaac Jefferis added 11 points for Union City (2-0).
Union City travels to Wes-Del on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
