BERNE, Ind. – The Union City girls basketball team fell 44-38 at South Adams on Saturday.
Justiss Cantu led the Indians with 11 points and three assists.
Ellie Kerns and Kahlee Dowler both finished with 10 points.
Maddy Cox and Dowler grabbed eight rebounds apiece.
Union City won the JV contest 48-46.
Jodi Carpenter led the Indians with 27 points and five steals. Reagan Hoggatt added nine points and four steals.
Mackenzie Charles had seven rebounds and Mya Carpenter had six.
The Indians (2-3) return to action on Tuesday as the entertain Richmond.
