PORTLAND, Ind. – The Union City girls basketball team dropped its first game of the season on Tuesday as the Indians fell 61-34 at Jay County.
Kelsey Zimmers scored 12 points to lead the Indians (3-1).
Baylee Hartman topped Union City with 15 rebounds, while tossing in eight points.
Kora Kerns led the Indians with seven steals.
Jay County won the JV contest 42-15.
Union City visits South Adams on Saturday.
